Canadian Manufacturing Drop in July

Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in July were $3.9 billion (CAD), down 0.1% from June and 5.1% lower than the comparable month in 2021. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, declining 11.2% from June and jumping 22.1% over July 2021. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries decreased 0.9% from June to $71.6 billion but soared 19.1% from July 2021.  See Statistics Canada
