Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in January totaled $2.7 billion (CAD), decreasing 2.0% from December 2025 and 19.2% lower than the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products reached $1.3 billion, increasing 0.1% month-over-month and up 7.0% from January 2025. Overall, Canadian manufacturing sales across all industries were $68.7 billion, declining 3.0% compared to December and 5.7% from the year prior. See Statistics Canada
