Canadian Furniture Retail Sales Down in October

Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in October decreased 0.3% from September to $1.18 billion (CAD) and were 6.1% lower than the same month in 2022. Sales for building material dealers dropped 0.2% from September at $3.88 billion and fell 6.3% from October 2022. Total Canadian retail sales rose 0.7% from September to $66.9 billion and increased 2.2% from last October.
