February Canadian building construction investment increased 1.5% from January and 8.9% year-over-year to $22.4 billion (CAD). Residential construction spending rose 1.8% to $15.7 billion in February. Seasonally adjusted single-family investment was 0.5% higher than January at $7.3 billion, while multi-unit levels grew 3.0% to $8.4 billion in February.
