October Canadian building construction investment declined 1.1% from September but rose 3.4% from the same period last year to $21.4 billion (CAD). Residential construction spending fell 2.1% to $14.9 billion in October. Seasonally adjusted single-family investment was 1.6% higher than in September at $7.1 billion, and multi-unit levels decreased 5.1% to $7.8 billion in October.
