Canadian Construction Investment Rises in March

Canadian building construction investment in March was up 1.8% from February to $20.3 billion (CAD). Residential construction spending grew 1.7% from February to $15.1 billion, and non-residential totals were 2.0% higher in March at $5.2 billion. Single-family spending rose 4.3% from February to $8.4 billion and multi-unit levels fell 1.4% to $6.7 billion in March. See Statistics Canada
