Canadian Construction Investment Increases in June

Canadian building construction investment in June was up 0.3% from May to $20.8 billion (CAD). Residential construction spending dropped by 0.4% to $15.5 billion from May while non-residential totals were 2.4% higher in June at $5.3 billion. Seasonally adjusted single-family spending grew 0.7% from May to $8.6 billion and multi-unit levels decreased 1.6% to $6.9 billion in June. See Statistics Canada
