Canadian Construction Investment Increases in December

Canadian building construction investment in December 2021 was up 1.9% from November to $18.4 billion (CAD). Residential construction spending grew 2.2% from November to $13.4 billion, and non-residential totals were up 1.1% in December to $4.9 billion. Single-family spending increased 3.5% from November to $7.4 billion and multi-unit levels rose 0.7% to $6.1 billion in December. See Statistics Canada
