June Canadian building construction investment increased 2.0% from May and 8.0% year-over-year to $22.7 billion (CAD). Residential construction spending grew 3.1% to $15.9 billion in June. Seasonally adjusted single-family investment was 1.8% higher than May at $6.9 billion, and multi-unit levels rose 4.2% to $9.1 billion in June.
