U.S. consumer confidence in August registered at 113.9, falling 11.3 points to the lowest score since February, according to The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index.  The index measuring current business and labor market conditions dropped 9.9 points from July to 147.3, and the short-term outlook for income, business and the labor market tumbled 12.4 points to 91.4 in August.
