U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in August were 5.5% higher than the comparable month in 2019 and up 4.2% from July, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business member survey. Year-to-date cabinet sales dropped 1.8% from the year-ago period.
Semi-custom sales rose 0.1% from July but declined 7.1% compared to the first eight months of 2019. Custom cabinetry sales increased 3.2% in August over the prior month and year-to-date levels were 3.3% below 2019. Stock sales grew 7.2% from July and were up 2.2% for the year. See KCMA
