U.S. kitchen and bath cabinet sales in August were $237.6 million, 1.5% lower than the comparable month last year but up 3.3% from July, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly “Trend of Business” member survey. Year-to-date sales were $1.893 billion, declining 2.4% from the first eight months of 2023.
Semi-custom sales grew 0.1% from August 2023 and 1.4% from July to $133.3 million. Custom cabinet sales increased 1.2% from the prior year and 5.0% from July to $64.1 million. Stock sales fell 9.9% from August 2023, but were up 7.0% from the previous month to $40.2 million. See KCMA
