Architectural Billings Remain Weak in February

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Economics & Market Research Group’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) dipped 0.1 point to 45.5 in February, and design contracts declined 4.2 points to 42.0. Inquiries decreased in February for the first time since the pandemic. February billings were below 50 in all sectors and regions. A score above 50 indicates growth. See AIA
