U.S. sales of new single-family homes in April were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 743,000, up 10.9% from March and 3.3% higher than the comparable month in 2024.
The seasonally adjusted estimate of new homes for sale in April was 504,000, indicating an 8.1-month supply at the existing sales rate. This is down 11.0% from March but up 5.2% from April 2024. See U.S. Census Bureau
