Seasonally adjusted Canadian wood product sales in April were $3.1 billion (CAD), declining 3.6% from March but up 2.2% from the comparable month last year. Sales of furniture and related products totaled $1.3 billion, falling 9.9% from March and 0.7% from April 2024. Canadian manufacturing sales for all industries were $69.6 billion, decreasing 2.8% compared to March and 2.7% from the year prior, marking the steepest decline since October 2023.
