Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in April increased 1.3% from March but fell 3.2% from the same month in 2025 to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers reached $3.8 billion, up 3.3% from March but 2.4% lower than April 2025. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $73.0 billion, growing 0.5% from the prior month and 3.7% higher than April 2025. See Statistics Canada
