AkzoNobel and Axalta Coating Systems will merge “as equals” to form a global coatings company. The merged company will be led by AkzoNobel CEO Greg Poux-Guillaume and operate dual headquarters in Amsterdam and Philadelphia. Completion of the deal is expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
