Canadian seasonally adjusted retail furniture store sales in December 2025 increased 0.6% from November and 0.1% from the same month in 2024 to $1.2 billion (CAD). Sales for building material dealers decreased 4.0% from November but rose 0.1% from December 2024 to $4.0 billion. Total Canadian retail sales for the month were $70.0 billion, down 0.4% from November and unchanged from the same period in 2024. Total retail sales for 2025 grew 4.0% over 2024.
