U.S. Home Sales Down in April

U.S. sales of new single-family homes in April were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 569,000, falling 11.4% below March but up 0.5% from the comparable month last year.  The seasonally-adjusted estimate of new homes for sale at the end of April was 268,000, representing a 5.7 month supply at the current sales rate.  See U.S. Census Bureau
